at any rate, he cleans himself up quickly and efficiently enough, and dresses comfortably, in black shorts and a sleeveless top. his hair is still wild and damp when he reemerges into the kitchen, snagging tighnari around the waist to pull him close, cyno's chest to his back, arms tight around him. simple, easy happiness is bubbling in his chest. ]

So, the box on the counter is a modestly small thing. When Cyno opens it he'll find an arm band inside, gold and with the appearance of a wreath of leaves.
When he looks to Tighnari after opening it, he'll find the man is a little nervous.]
[ tighnari's nerves are obvious to him, but then, he's known this man for many years now, he knows all of tighnari's tics, all of his little idiosyncrasies, and that he's a little nervous is.. cute, really.
he certainly doesn't need to be. there could be a lump of dirt in that box, and cyno would love it. but there's no lump of dirt, instead there's.. a beautiful piece of jewelry. cyno smiles, drawing it from the box and examining it in the light. ]
Like it? 'Nari, I love it.
[ he says softly, warmly, before he's immediately sliding it up his arm and onto his bicep. ]
[Honestly, he had known that Cyno would like it and that any concern that he wouldn't was completely unnecessary. Doesn't he know the man inside and out after all? He knew the moment he laid eyes on the piece that Cyno would love it.
He smiles, admiring it for a moment where it sits against his lover's skin.]
I'm glad.
[And he really, truly is.]
What do you want to do today? It's entirely up to you.
[ cyno isn't a liar in general, even little white lies rarely pass his lips, so if he hadn't loved the gift it would've been evident, but tighnari knows him well, and the armband suits cyno perfectly, glinting in the morning light where it rests. like all the rest, it will now become a staple. ]

[ cyno smiles, and weaves their fingers together, tugging tighnari close. ]
I just want to be with you, today. [ a beat. ] And maybe some cards.
[Tighnari moves close without complaint, smiling warmly as his body fits against his lover's and sinking into the multitude of sensation that comes with being this close to him.]
I think I can handle all of that.
[And they even have some cards.]
Do you want to get the cards out now? [He knows how Cyno is with TCG...] Just--... one request. Try not to shout too loudly when you win.
[ cyno hums contentedly, rumbling deep in his chest as he nuzzles into tighnari's hair. he marvels, sometimes, at just how easy it is to be in love with tighnari, how every movement feels perfectly natural. ]

[ he starts, nibbling playfully at the edge of tighnari's ear before releasing him. ]
I promise, so long as you promise to put up the fight of your life.
[Though he knows he's no match for Cyno, Tighnari does count himself a decent TCG player. If he wasn't he would have never reached such a rank as to be able to play against Cyno in the tournament in the first place.
He laughs softly, his ear flicking against the top of Cyno's head in chastisement for the teeth he feels nipping against the edge, then pats Cyno's hip with one hand.]
