the morning after;

[ the morning dawns, and cyno and tighnari awaken together, tangled in a warm knot, comfortable and content.

when he was told he was being gifted a pleasure slave.. cyno had hardly known how to take it. he does not hold it against the matra who choose to frequent the brothels - their jobs are stressful - but it simply isn't cyno's way, and never has been. but tighnari has been a surprise from the get-go, and cyno finds that he is already terribly fond of him. that the sex was good and satisfying is only a plus.

nevertheless, they rise together, and spend a lazy morning in bed, talking and kissing and touching until, two hours before noon, there's a knock at the door. cyno rises from bed, pressing a kiss to tighnari's brow, before he's winding a shendyt loosely around his hips and seeing to their company - tighnari's previous keepers, here to check in, to see to it that cyno has.. enjoyed his prize. they're not content with his verbal assurance that yes, they slept together, and cyno is quite satisfied, and for the sake of appearances, they must inspect the bed and tighnari both.

this doesn't sit well with cyno, but he's powerless to stop them. it isn't his place to interrupt their work, and to do so might hint that he's dissatisfied, which would call more trouble down onto tighnari's head. so he stands aside as they inspect the sheets, arms crossed and back straight, but when they ask tighnari to lie back against the bed, cyno's hard expression turns to one of mild alarm. ]

Tighnari’s eyes widen in shock. What could the other possibly mean by that?

“Nothing you do could be inappropriate…” Cyno is his master, for one. And also, of course he should enjoy himself after he had given Tighnari such pleasure. He bit his lip.

Cyno doesn't entirely agree, but.. so long as Tighnari doesn't feel scandalized or violated, he supposes it's all right. Lifting his hand from the water, Cyno smooths his thumb along Tighnari's cheek.

"Are you ready for bed?"

[tighnauri]

"Mm," Tighnari nods slightly, hesitantly after trying to decipher for a moment if that's the answer Cyno wants him to have. It's hard to tell.

He's still sore but after the hot bath and after the pleasure of the mutual masturbation in the aftermath of a rather traumatic events earlier in the day he really wouldn't mind laying down if he's allowed to.

With a nod, Cyno reaches to pull the drain plug before he's standing, water sloughing over his skin in rivulets. He helps Tighnari to his feet, reaches for a towel to wrap it around Tighnari's shoulders.

"Let's get you some rest."

Tighnari isn’t prideful enough to refuse the other’s help and he smiles at his master, even if the other doesn’t want to be referred to as such. He pulls the towel in after it’s wrapped around his shoulders and then works on drying off.

“Is there anything you need to do?” Tighnari questions, gently working over his tail. He really needs to take some time to give it some proper care...

Surely, the other can’t simply stay in bed with him all day.

Cyno doesn't particularly want to leave Tighnari here alone, but..

".. I suppose I should get some work done," he says, frowning even as he snags a towel of his own and begins to dry himself. "Will you be all right alone?"

[tighnauri]

“I promise that I can take care of myself, General,” Tighnari says with a soft smile. “If there’s anything you wish for me to do while you are working, please tell me.”

He’s looking forward to using some oils and a brush on his tail and then resting his tired and sore body. It aches deeply inside but it’s not a terrible ache at least.

"All I want you to do for me is to rest and make yourself comfortable. We're going to be together for a long time, you and I."

Tighnari is, for all intents and purposes, his property now, though Cyno certainly doesn't see it that way, they're still going to be seeing quite a lot of one another. After he's dry, Cyno hangs up the towel and steps back into their bedchambers to dress. "Help yourself to anything you like. This place is your home."
