[ delivered to cyno and tighnari's door is a long, wrapped package carefully sealed in layers of brown packaging paper done in kaveh's typical fussy perfectionism. enclosed within is a wooden training rod polished to a wood-grain sheen and carefully balanced for cyno's height and weight.
also enclosed is a small jar of mint-scented hand-made oil with instructions done in kaveh's kshahrewar-standard slanting cursive on how to apply the oil with a microfibre cloth once a week to keep the wood relatively moist. the jar, notably, has had its packaging excised but looks very much like it probably once held tahini. ]
👻👻👻BOO!👻👻👻 Did I scare you? Well! It's OCTOBER SO! 🎃 SPOOKY SEASON IS UPON US! 🎃 DO YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR HALLOWEEN WISH COME TRUE?!?!?! 👻🧟💀 SEND THIS MESSAGE TO 5 OTHER PEOPLE IN HALF AN HOUR AFTER READING THIS...🎃🎃🎃 otherwise something awful will happen on OCTOBER 31! HALLOWEEN! PERHAPS DEATH AWAITS YOU! ☠️☠️☠️ Just kidding you'll just have the bad luck of eternal BODY ODOR!🤢🤢🤢 So better beware!! 👻
And yet, I am from your world and I am not afraid by you! While I can understand why most people would be scared, I would think you are rather terrifingly friendly!
[ at tighnari and cyno's door sits a large, handwoven basket holding four paper-wrapped gifts blooming profusely from their seams with long-stemmed paper flowers in dizzying greens and reds and oranges splayed along the painted watercolours of a rising, winter-morning dawn pale with still-visible pinpricks of mourning stars.
the two packages labeled for cyno reveal two full genius invokation decks. each set of thirty cards is carefully cut from cardstock. each card is drawn from kaveh's iron-clad memory, brilliant purples for cyno's and razor's card, a deep blue for the young blue swordsman that cyno often adds to his deck, each and every action card detailed in gorgeous ink strokes made form. the cards are matte. some of them have their point values added, but lack the full description.

To my dearest friend Cyno,
In trying to recreate yours and Tighnari's TCG decks from memory, I realise that my ability to recall the colours, forms and artwork involved is far better than my ability to recall the words. However, I suspect that you know each and every instruction far better than I would. I invite you to fill in the rest of the descriptions on your cards. When you are done for both decks, bring them to me, and I will apply varnish to them so that they are glossy. They are a poor imitation of the cards you treasure, I know, but I hope that this may bring the joy of the game to you here, where that joy matters most.
You have been a friend to me, Cyno, in ways that I can never repay. This is a debt I will always owe and remember. Thank you. Allow me time, and I will have two more decks prepared for both myself and Alhaitham. I should like to have a game of Invokation TCG with you once more over drinks.
May your coming year be as sweet as watermelon, and as fruitful as pomegranates.

Even though you have cursed me with odor.

But fear not, it is not an actual curse. Should you not fulfill the requirement, you will have endless body odor!
