[ cyno is an efficient man, and he showers quickly to the scent of cooking breakfast drifting through the space. it's some twenty minutes later that he emerges, dressed for the day, his hair tamed and damp, left down to dry.

he inhales deeply as he pads into the kitchen. ]

Smells good..

[ he murmurs, smiling at the sight of tighnari rooting around his kitchen. it feels almost like they're playing at house, the domesticity of the moment makes his chest tighten up a little. ]

What are you looking for?

Hopefully it tastes as good as it smells.

[ though he says, but tighnari is confident plenty in his own cooking. he pauses in his attempt to reach around at the inquiry, looking over his shoulder with a light sway of his tail. ]

Oh, some glasses. I was going to pour us some water.

[ cyno is confident in tighnari's cooking, as well!! he loves it, even if it's not always as spicy as he might prefer it to be, but that's all right. it's still very good, cyno will never complain. ]

Cabinet above you.

[ he says, swatting playfully at tighnari's tail before he slides onto a barstool at the kitchen island. ]

[ lucky for cyno, tighnari did put a little work into this. ]

Ah, thank you.

[ though that tail quickly whips right on back at that hand. hmph! gathering the glasses, he fills them both with water until making his way over to slide both a bowl of food and glass in front of him. ]

This one is yours. I tried to add at least some more spices in after so I hope it came out alright.

[ it was easy to make it the way he himself prefers and then do a bit more for cyno's own preferable spice levels but. he couldn't risk tasting it too much to make sure.]

[ tighnari is always so good to him - making sure his food was specially spiced and flavored, so he didn't find it too bland. he really is an incredibly thoughtful person. it was funny, sometimes, to think about how they met, how he'd once thought tighnari was a suspicious individual.. he couldn't have been more wrong, yet he's thankful that he investigated him nonetheless. if he hadn't, they wouldn't be here, and cyno's life would be dimmer for it. ]

[ he says with a smile, immediately tucking into his meal. it was, of course, quite delicious, and cyno hummed his satisfaction with a nod, washing down a few mouthfuls with some water. ]

Very good. Did you sleep all right?

[ their first meeting is always a bit of a funny memory to think back on, if because tighnari was so focused on his research while humoring requests from other students to seek his help or opinions on things. that by the time he was prodded with suspicions, he was quick to show it for what it was - a simple man that naturally had people flocking to him because of the kindness he would manage to spare and opportunities to talk. ]

Mhm, of course.

[ and now here they both were, in some extended hotel outside the universe with so many mysteries and places to explore with the both of them sitting so homely in a kitchen having breakfast. he helps himself to a bit of his own food, midchew when asked that he swallows away with some water. ]

Considering I didn't get up as early as I normally do, I'd say so.

Heh. Right.

[ they both slept in a little, didn't they? they could've slept in even later, which was quite tempting for a number of reasons, but in the end they're both such responsible men, it wasn't in the cards. it's all right, cyno enjoys this, too, just having tighnari beside him in any capacity is pleasing to him. ]

I think I'll pop back home today for a little while, gather up a few decks of cards for people who are interested in playing TCG.

[ he's met a surprising amount of people who are into the idea! ]

Not too surprising. I'm sure it'll be more fun having more people to choose from to play against with, instead of just Kaveh and I.

[ he works at his breakfast in the meantime, only moving to wash dishes once they're both finished. otherwise, he's fine with enjoying conversation with the other man as they indulge in this comfortable moment. ]

Don't forget you still owe me a tour.

[ even if he's seen quite a bit already by now. ]

Well, I do love playing with you both, but yes.

[ diversity! or something. besides, he'd tire tighnari out if they played as often as cyno really wants to. at any rate, they clear up their breakfast with ease, and cyno takes up the drying position, wiping the dishes down as tighnari hands them to him. ]

Well, you've seen most everything, but sure.

You can play with either of us whenever, branching out will be good for you.

[ his tail sways as they fall into this soft quiet domestic moment, washing the dishes and handing them to cyno to dry. it isn't until they're done with the task does he move to dry his own hands, humming. ]

Even so show me around anyways.

Heh, all right, all right.

[ with the last dish now put away, cyno begins the tour! tighnari has already seen the open area living room/dining/kitchen space, as well as his bedroom, so next he shows off the spacious baths, which he's enjoyed indulging in, and lastly, the patio area.

tighnari will enjoy this space most, he thinks. it's open air, shielded from the desert sun, and there are several small ponds built in, bursting with lotuses and filled with fish. ]

[ ah, cyno really does know him well, he takes in the spacious baths with some curiosity - but the patio area has his tail and ears both perking right up. he steps right on out, taking in the open air and while there's that familiar heat from the desert sun.. it's covered enough.

there is hardly a moment when he steps right on over to the small ponds, kneeling down to look briefly at the fish until he takes in the sight of the lotuses that drift along the surface with every ripple. ]

This space is beautiful. The heat isn't so terrible here either.

No, it isn't. The shade helps.

[ he looks pleased that tighnari enjoys the space. these rooms are tailored to their likes.. he can't help but wonder if the hotel took cyno's fondness for tighnari in mind, when building this particular area. if it knew he would want a nice space for his dearest friend.

moving closer, cyno sits at the edge of the pond. ]

You can come visit it any time.

[ it isn't a thought that comes up in tighnari's own mind, after all he isn't too familiar with the way these floors work - though he has noticed that it does change when considers having something around. but for all he knows, something like this is what cyno prefers.

in any case, he's comfortable sitting here, peering out until over to cyno. his tail waves a little as he smiles. ]

I'll keep that in mind. Though next time you can visit my room. I'm sure Karkata would be happy to see you.

[ cyno brightens at that. ]

I'd like to see Karkata, too. It's been awhile.

[ tighnari is the only one that can make the general mahamatra look the other way when it comes to not entirely legal activity.. but karkata was worth it. what a good little mechanical crab it is. cyno leans back on his hands. ]

I'll have to drop by soon.

[ a very good mechanical crab, and though often kept a bit quiet about it - tighnari knows he couldn't keep it from cyno's knowing, after all he hardly hides anything from him. and as expected cyno was very understanding about karkata's situation. ]

You can drop by anytime. Just send me a message, or let yourself in. Either or.

[ not that he minds being here or coming by after this first visit, especially taking this moment to relax, but the desert really is a Struggle for him. ]

[ cyno might indeed be biased toward tighnari, but as far as he is concerned, it is of no issue. tighnari is a fine person, a kind, smart, thoughtful person, he wouldn't ask anything of cyno for the wrong reasons, and cyno can trust that implicitly, completely. if tighnari says that karkata is harmless and deserves to endure, then cyno trusts that.

as for visiting - of course. cyno smiles. ]

I will. I'll come see it soon.

[ he knows full well that tighnari's visits might be a little less common, on this floor, and cyno wouldn't want him exerting himself too much, anyway. ]

Just let me know when you're ready, and I'll walk you back to the door.

[ though tighnari enjoys every moment of his company, there's a bit of work to be done today. and he thinks it would be good for cyno to branch out and accompany others within this hotel.

so he nods, peering at the rest of the scene until he stretches a little and pushes back to a stand. ]

We can head now then.

[ cyno, too, gets to his feet with a nod. making new friends surely isn't the easiest thing for cyno, he's not exactly good at being social, but.. he's trying his best!! ]

All right, let's go then.

[ he'll be sad to see tighnari go, but they've got plenty of time now to spend together, in this place. ]
