[ maybe! he hums thoughtfully, pondering the question over. ]

Kaveh and I went out for a bit, it was... interesting to say the least. What about you?

Oh? You can't say something like that, and not elaborate. [ tighnari pls!! ] What was so interesting?

It's not that big of a deal! [ noooo. tighnari seems a bit embarrassed... ] I mean, you must have noticed that there have been strange effects happening to us in this hotel?

At first, I thought it had to do with maybe something we were consuming but.. it seems more tied to the activities. [ leans over to bump shoulders with him. ] Anyways, you didn't answer me.

You're not going to tell me?

[ yes he's going to be stubborn about this!! ]

I just need more time to actually wrap my thoughts around it first is all.

[ he shakes his head, ears pinning back. you stubborn stubborn man!! ] It wasn't as if I wasn't going to tell you. I always do, don't I?

.. well now I'm concerned.

[ frowning, cyno reaches to brush the hair back from tighnari's eyes. what in the world could have happened that he'd need time to think about it before telling cyno?? of course he trusts tighnari, but.. okay, he's admittedly a little chafed. but if tighnari doesn't want him to press further, he won't. ]

Just tell me you're both okay, and I'll let it go.

[ there's a brief pause, before he allows himself to lean into the touch. it's easy to when they're sitting so close to one another like this. tighnari doesn't do anything else though, merely resting here. though his expression changes as he ponders it over until cyno's words continue. ]

We're fine, it's nothing to worry about. [ a soft sigh, his tail raising to brush along his companion's back. another comforting gesture. ] The floor we were on just made us feel a certain way is all. I was unprepared for it.

.. okay.

[ cyno's still clearly not entirely convinced, still feels something like worry in the pit of his stomach, but he's always been a little overprotective of his loved ones. it's nothing new, and something he has to control. so he does. briefly, his thumb smooths over tighnari's skin before he drops his hand away. ]

To answer your question, no, I've not yet encountered anything particularly noteworthy. Some nice landscapes, and a room with unusual gravity, but nothing to write home about.

[ personally, tighnari does not consider what happened that serious of an issue overall. but it still warrants some thinking over - at least enough to gather his thoughts and possibly bring up properly later. however, for now, he focuses on that thumb that smooths over, his gaze fluttering briefly to a close until he blinks at him once it's gone almost too soon. ]

Unusual gravity? [ one ear flicks idly with thought, head tilting a little. ] I see. Outside what Kaveh and I experienced, I suppose it has been mostly the same as well for me. Just being mostly environmental landscapes that is. Of course, you and I did make plans to do some exploring together so chances are something could come up for us.

[ he reaches for his glass of water again, idly tapping at it. he is still without his gloves because of his nice nails! ]

[ gotta show off the sweet manicure!! cyno's own nails aren't as fancy, but he enjoyed his mani nonetheless, it softened up his hands considerably, at least for now, and his nails are nicely buffed and smooth. ]

Well, if you're not busy, we could go now. If you're feeling up to it, that is.

[ tighnari might need a little time to recover from the heat.. ]

I don't mind going now.

[ except he stands does he start to sway a little oops - so he's sitting back down with a rub to his head. ]

..Maybe when I recover a bit more. Otherwise you might end up having to carry me.

[ oh, that wobble.. cyno fusses a little more, carefully laying his hand on tighnari's back. he takes the cloth, folds it over so the cool side is out again, and carefully presses it along tighnari's brow and cheek. ]

Well, as cute as piggy-backing you across the multiverse sounds, it would be better for you to be on your feet. You can take a nap, if you like.

[ ears flicker back, lashes fluttering to a close at the careful press of the cool cloth over his face. a light sigh as he's soothed by it on his slightly flushed skin. ]

I would much rather be on my own feet anyway. [ debates a nap, hmm... shakes his head. ] I'll be fine without one. I don't want you waiting on me. I'll just focus on rehydrating myself and I should be good to go.

[ a light chuckle. ]

I'm a patient man, Tighnari, I can wait an hour if sleep will help you feel better.

[ but of course tighnari would worry about that, and cyno shakes his head. standing again, cyno takes the warmed rag and moves to the sink to wet it in cool water again, before returning to tighnari's side. reapplying the cool cloth to his face. ]

But whatever you prefer. I wonder what we'll find.

I know.

[ a soft confirmation, of course the general mahamatra can be very patient. when the man moves, tighnari finishes up his glass of water and sets the empty glass aside. ears fold back into his dark hair, leaning into the cloth again with some thought. ]

Hmmm, with your floor like this and my own with the forest... maybe we'll find ourselves on a snowy floor?

Heh, maybe we should dress warmly.

[ but then with their luck, they'll get a volcanic floor or something. ]

Or maybe not. I've noticed that the floors seem to provide what if needed, if it's necessary.

There are some stores on these floors for different clothing if we need any.

[ oh, volcanic floor would really be the worst luck. fortunately, with cyno's careful care with the damp cloth, tighnari does feel much better than earlier - if his relieved expression is anything to go by. his tail flicks over to brush against cyno's leg appreciatively before he moves. ]

I feel much better now. Shall we go now? Or after a quick tour of your room?

[ the brush of tighnari's tail makes him smile, and cyno nods, sliding out of his seat as well. ]

All right, if you're ready. [ retrieving his cloak from its peg on the wall, cyno returns, but instead of pulling it over his body, he drapes it over tighnari. he'll need it to protect him from the sun once they head to the elevators. ]

You can have a tour later, I'm itching to go.

[ the feel of that cloak pulled over him surprises him for only a moment, smiling after and taking hold of it properly so it doesn't slip. leave it to cyno to be so prepared. it has his tail swaying now, chuckling a little as they make their way to the door. ]

That excited to see what we'll find?

[ well, he can hardly blame him, exploring the unknowns is always exciting in itself. and since it's the two of them, they'll be more prepared than going at it alone. ]

[ oh tighnari looks so cute in his cloak.. ]

A little bit. It's hard not to be, and it's been awhile since we've had the chance to spend so much time together.

[ not since they traveled to mondstadt with collei. their work keeps them both so busy. they step back out into the unforgiving sands, but thankfully cyno knows the way to the elevators, and it isn't far. ]

[ it is a nice cloak, and one that has cyno's scent clinging to it - a distant thought would likely be that it's something nice to have, but he's quickly distracted by the lingering heat as they step onto the sands. he follows cyno's lead, though keeps close, just on the chance a sudden dizzy spell hits him. ]

That's true. With your duties and my own tasks, we don't have as many opportunities like this.

[ they really are both unfortunately busy. despite the heat, tighnari is still in a good mood, tugging the cloak just a bit more overhead as they make their way in the direction of the elevators. ]

Mhm. All the more reason to take advantage of it.

[ tighnari is the sort of person that cyno could never really tire of being around. they're close in a way that their company never gets old, and cyno will treasure every moment of this while they have it.

they move quickly, and cyno knows the way through the dunes toward the elevator fixed into a smooth rock formation; the doors slide open, and he quickly ushers tighnari into the nice climate controlled elevator. ]

Much better. So.. should we just choose randomly again?

[ once he's ushered inside, he emits a long sigh of relief, hands guiding the hood off his head from the cloak with a small shake of his head. ]

Whew... that was much easier than when I came by earlier. [ he's not on the edge of passing out, that's for sure. not that it got to that point but leave it to cyno's sharpness to get them through it quickly. his tail sways up and down with thought as he glances to the rows of buttons before nodding. ]

I'd say so. Unless you know of a floor you want to explore already. I'm fine either way.

[ very good, he's glad to see that tighnari is still upright by the time they enter the nice cool elevators. thankfully the trip back was not very long. ]

No, I'd like to leave it to chance, and see what we get.

[ cyno glances over the buttons, then.. simply pushes a random one. the doors close, the elevator moves smoothly, and after a very short wait, the doors slide open again, revealing.. a rolling field of flowers, hemmed in by a forest. ]

Hmm, this seems nice -

[ he says, stepping out, and the moment his foot touches the ground - poof - he's a fluffy white jackal. ]

Then we'll leave it to chance.

[ a light agreement while he watches cyno reach out to press a button. it doesn't hit him to consider offering cyno his cloak back, comforted by the weight of it and his scent clinging to it. though the greeting sight of the field of flowers does have his ears perking to attention. ]

Oh, interesting. I wonder how differ-- [ oh. ] Cyno?!

[ HELP... there's a surprised wide-eyed look from tighnari, concerned at the sudden change as he steps after only for a repeating poof and instead there's a dark green and softer green small fox in place that flops over after tripping over his own paws with a pitched yelp. oof. ]
