[ don't mind if he slips into the more refreshed and conditioned room compared to the clinging Heat outside. though he's a bit wobbly, a hand holding his head with both ears and tail incredibly droopy. ]

I should've notified you sooner about me being on my way... you would think I'd be more prepared with how unpredictable these floors can be.

[ the floppy ears and tail nooooo.. cyno immediately shuts the door and presses a hand to tighnari's lower back to steady him, guiding him toward the kitchen area. ]

Well, at least you didn't get lost out there.. that would've been a disaster. Here, sit, I'll get you some water.

[ and a cool cloth. ]

[ tighnari follows the guidance with ease thanks to that supportive hand, even moving to sit at the counter with a hefty sigh. ]

I'm sure I would've definitely passed out if I did get lost.. [ so in hindsight he really was lucky. he mumbles while he leans to rest his cheek on the cold smooth counter. comfy. don't mind if he closes his eyes for a bit just until he can get the spinning in his vision to settle. ] Mmm.. thanks.

[ tighnari sits.. and immediately faceplants, which earns an uncharacteristic snort from cyno, who ruffles tighnari's hair affectionately as he passes.

it hardly takes long to fill a glass with water and soak a small hand towel, which he wrings out and then immediately places over the back of tighnari's neck, sliding the glass of water in close for him to take whenever he's ready. ]

Take as long as you need.

[ an ear flicks at the sound of that snort, before both fold back with a head tilt into the ruffle. but cyno leaves and tighnari resumes his slow ooze into a melted puddle on this nice counter.

at least he isn't a completely melted fox puddle when cyno comes back. his tail lifts at the sudden touch of that damp hand towel on his neck before drooping again. ah, that feels much better. a relieved sigh emits. ]

Sorry, I just need a moment. [ though he peeks at cyno, until he reaches to keep the hand towel where it is as he moves to take a drink of water. while he sips, he takes a more than obvious curious glance around. ] I wanted to come check out your room for myself.

[ while tighnari recovers, cyno slides into the seat beside his own, reaching to rub gently between tighnari's shoulders. that'll do, fox. ]

You can look over it all you like once you're not about to fall over.

[ thanks cyno, you're the best as always. his tail wags just the faintest at that rub to his back. ]

It isn't nearly that bad. [ nevermind that it could've been. ] Have you made any personal touches to it yet? Karkata and I have been sorta redecorating back in my own room.

[ ah those tail wags are what cyno lives for.. tighnari is just so cute. he gives his customary lopsided smile, and leans his chin against the heel of his hand. ]

Mm, not really, no. I'm not much of a decorator. I went home and brought back a few things.. mostly decks and card paraphernalia. You brought Karkata?

That isn't too surprising.

[ which is said with some amusement, settling his jaw into the palm of his own hand while he peers beside him. his tail slows after a moment but enough to still express his contentment. ]

I did. I thought about leaving them at Pardis Dhyai but. It was curious to follow after me so I let it tag along. Figured there's probably something for it to help me with here.

[ maybe! he hums thoughtfully, pondering the question over. ]

Kaveh and I went out for a bit, it was... interesting to say the least. What about you?

It's not that big of a deal! [ noooo. tighnari seems a bit embarrassed... ] I mean, you must have noticed that there have been strange effects happening to us in this hotel?

At first, I thought it had to do with maybe something we were consuming but.. it seems more tied to the activities. [ leans over to bump shoulders with him. ] Anyways, you didn't answer me.

[ yes he's going to be stubborn about this!! ]

I just need more time to actually wrap my thoughts around it first is all.

[ he shakes his head, ears pinning back. you stubborn stubborn man!! ] It wasn't as if I wasn't going to tell you. I always do, don't I?

.. well now I'm concerned.

[ frowning, cyno reaches to brush the hair back from tighnari's eyes. what in the world could have happened that he'd need time to think about it before telling cyno?? of course he trusts tighnari, but.. okay, he's admittedly a little chafed. but if tighnari doesn't want him to press further, he won't. ]

Just tell me you're both okay, and I'll let it go.

[ there's a brief pause, before he allows himself to lean into the touch. it's easy to when they're sitting so close to one another like this. tighnari doesn't do anything else though, merely resting here. though his expression changes as he ponders it over until cyno's words continue. ]

We're fine, it's nothing to worry about. [ a soft sigh, his tail raising to brush along his companion's back. another comforting gesture. ] The floor we were on just made us feel a certain way is all. I was unprepared for it.

[ cyno's still clearly not entirely convinced, still feels something like worry in the pit of his stomach, but he's always been a little overprotective of his loved ones. it's nothing new, and something he has to control. so he does. briefly, his thumb smooths over tighnari's skin before he drops his hand away. ]

To answer your question, no, I've not yet encountered anything particularly noteworthy. Some nice landscapes, and a room with unusual gravity, but nothing to write home about.

[ personally, tighnari does not consider what happened that serious of an issue overall. but it still warrants some thinking over - at least enough to gather his thoughts and possibly bring up properly later. however, for now, he focuses on that thumb that smooths over, his gaze fluttering briefly to a close until he blinks at him once it's gone almost too soon. ]

Unusual gravity? [ one ear flicks idly with thought, head tilting a little. ] I see. Outside what Kaveh and I experienced, I suppose it has been mostly the same as well for me. Just being mostly environmental landscapes that is. Of course, you and I did make plans to do some exploring together so chances are something could come up for us.

[ he reaches for his glass of water again, idly tapping at it. he is still without his gloves because of his nice nails! ]

[ gotta show off the sweet manicure!! cyno's own nails aren't as fancy, but he enjoyed his mani nonetheless, it softened up his hands considerably, at least for now, and his nails are nicely buffed and smooth. ]

Well, if you're not busy, we could go now. If you're feeling up to it, that is.

[ tighnari might need a little time to recover from the heat.. ]

I don't mind going now.

[ except he stands does he start to sway a little oops - so he's sitting back down with a rub to his head. ]

..Maybe when I recover a bit more. Otherwise you might end up having to carry me.

[ oh, that wobble.. cyno fusses a little more, carefully laying his hand on tighnari's back. he takes the cloth, folds it over so the cool side is out again, and carefully presses it along tighnari's brow and cheek. ]

Well, as cute as piggy-backing you across the multiverse sounds, it would be better for you to be on your feet. You can take a nap, if you like.

[ ears flicker back, lashes fluttering to a close at the careful press of the cool cloth over his face. a light sigh as he's soothed by it on his slightly flushed skin. ]

I would much rather be on my own feet anyway. [ debates a nap, hmm... shakes his head. ] I'll be fine without one. I don't want you waiting on me. I'll just focus on rehydrating myself and I should be good to go.

[ a light chuckle. ]

I'm a patient man, Tighnari, I can wait an hour if sleep will help you feel better.

[ but of course tighnari would worry about that, and cyno shakes his head. standing again, cyno takes the warmed rag and moves to the sink to wet it in cool water again, before returning to tighnari's side. reapplying the cool cloth to his face. ]

But whatever you prefer. I wonder what we'll find.

[ a soft confirmation, of course the general mahamatra can be very patient. when the man moves, tighnari finishes up his glass of water and sets the empty glass aside. ears fold back into his dark hair, leaning into the cloth again with some thought. ]

Hmmm, with your floor like this and my own with the forest... maybe we'll find ourselves on a snowy floor?
